At the grocery store
Look beyond the label.
Ingredient names and nutrition tables do not have to be confusing. Find the right product and ask Futu to explain what you read on the package.
See how it worksA few steps in store.
- 01
Start with the right product.
Scan the barcode and open the product information. Check the name, package size and variant against the item in your hand.
- 02
Bring the label into your question.
Save the product and open Futu. Type the ingredients or nutrition values you would like explained into the conversation.
- 03
Compare on the same basis.
For two foods, use values per 100 grams for both, for example. When information is missing, ask what else needs checking.
What could you ask in store?
- “Explain these ingredient names in plain language.”
- “Here are the values for two granolas per 100 g. What are the biggest differences?”
- “What information is still missing before I can compare these products?”
